Hey guys, I have been looking for a some good myspace and facebook apps and I can not find one that I really enjoy of either. Right now I am using Bloo for facebook and Myspace Mobile app. The myspace mobile app is ok but I would like a different experience. My only complaint about facebook apps is that I can not find a app that lets me send messages through the app. My questions are:

Is there a facebook app out there that lets me send message via the app without having to open the browser to do it?

Are there any good myspace apps beside Myspace Mobile?

Thanks guys.

If you're on Android 2.x, I highly recommend "Facebook for Android" official app. Most of the functionality is in the app, it's fast, and it gives you contacts sync that is hooked into the system.

If you're still on 1.5/1.6 then either Bloo or Babbler are great apps.

No idea about Myspace apps though. I stopped using it when it became a playground for musicians.

Sorry I forgot to add I have a G1 of course on 1.6 – Slinky1914 Jan 15 at 14:01
Is the app different for 2.x than it is for 1.6? – judge doom Jan 16 at 4:32
Yes. The version currently in the Market (1.1.2) is for 1.6 and doesn't have some of the features such as contacts sync because 2.0 framework is required for them to work. 1.1.0 is the version that works on Android 2.0.1 and has those features. There is yet another version of the app (1.1.3) that works only on Android 2.1. – Chahk Jan 16 at 22:36

The official facebook app is decent, but when I find myself needing more functionality, I just go to lite.facebook.com.
