What are some recommended IM apps? Preferably one that supports multiple IM networks. Specifically, I would love to be on both AIM and Facebook chat at the same time. Any suggestions?

I've heard good things about both eBuddy and Meebo. Both support both AIM and Facebook, among others. And both are free!

Agreed. Meebo is great on a PC but on Android OS it forcecloses all the time for me.

eBuddy is definitely better since it hasn't forceclosed on me yet BUT i notice that it happens to add additional buddies that I have never formally approved. other than that, eBuddy is a good app until Meebo gets its act together.

I've used both Meebo and eBuddy, and eBuddy is by far the most stable and feature-rich of the two. Granted, I haven' gone back to Meebo since they were at around version 15 - so you might want to check if they resolved the issue with constant disconnects.

Of course if Trillian would get off the iPhone bandwagon and port their app to Android, they'd beat any of those other apps. But I'm biased there :)
